Voicemails

Is it not enough that I called? I thought that technology was moving forward to get away from having to use recorders. There is caller ID and text messaging and emails and facebook and a lot of everything else. I don’t want to wait on the five-minute lecture from the automated lady-voice on how to leave a message. Plus, my voice sounds funny on recordings. All nasally and high-pitched. I don’t want my boss or my boyfriend to think, “How did a little kid get a hold of Tabitha’s phone?” I haven’t ever set up my voicemail before, and if is automatically set up, I wouldn’t know. I’ve just let it get full I guess. I text people. I text my mother, and she can’t see worth crap, nor spell, but she does better than most Americans these days. Texting is much easier anyways. Phone conversations are awkward. Why isn’t texting a word? Or texted? They should be… Look at me, the younger generation, and how much farther ahead I am than other people. 🙂

Thank you for reading.
