ALASKA

Ho Ho Holy slush. I live in Alaska. Do you know what that means? That means snow. But not only that. I also live in a rain forest where it rains almost EVERY DAY….. So, it is slush village here. The slush snow rain blows sideways, and the gutters are always clogged with ice.

My day starts out with 5 or so snooze button intervals. I get up, shower, la da da, put on two pairs of pants, either yoga pants and big sweats, or jeans and big sweats. I put on a camisole, a long sleeved shirt, and a t-shirt. Sweater, jacket, two pairs of socks, xtratufs, scarve, and gloves. I feel like the little boy from that Christmas Story movie.

I get a ride to school and keep everything on but my shoes, because I don’t like wearing shoes inside. Thank Foster Parent for that. I bet that everyone thinks I’m a fatty, because I look so huge with my clothes on and I am always eating something. (Today it was Brookside’s dark chocolate pomegranate pretend healthy yummies.) I am a full 130lbs, or 58.9670081kg for you other people.

I go out for lunch, see dogs, and usually get sopping wet, and then have to sit through the rest of the day being all smelly. Good thing I have dreads though. I wouldn’t have any other excuse to smell like wet clothes, dog, and pine trees.

Oh, dogs, I got bitten by a dog this weekend, and you can see a very nice outline of the whole mouth on my arm. It was going through my jacket, the sweater, and then the long sleeved shirt before it got to my skin, so it is just a nice bruise. 🙂 She is making progress with playful biting and is also adoptable…. She wasn’t being aggressive. Just a big Alaskan dog. (10 months.)

Thank you for reading, and have a good day.
